My professional career

My personal and professional career has led me to live in different countries, speak different languages and feel part of different cultures. Bilingual by birth, I grew up speaking Spanish and Catalan.The French I learnt in my childhood was consolidated during my years in Brussels, my family is Irish and I speak English at home, I learned Italian and Portuguese because I was drawn to the countries where it is spoken…. My working languages are English, Spanish and Catalan (active languages) and French, Italian and Portuguese (passive languages). With a Degree in Philology and a Master’s Degree in Conference Interpreting, I started working as an interpreter at the European Parliament where I undertook ongoing professional training. After a period in Brussels as a permanent interpreter, I set up my own freelance interpreting business to expand my client portfolio, working for international and European institutions as well as wide range of public and private companies and local and national administrations. I also offer remonte online interpreting when required and I am accredited by several platforms to offer Simultaneous Remote Interpreting (Kudo, Interactio, …)
